We've discussed Palin a little, what about Biden?
To be honest, when I think of Biden, I think of him taking credit for the assault weapons ban. Here are a few quotes from him as well:
“I mean, you got the first mainstream African-American who is articulate and bright and clean and a nice-looking guy. I mean, that’s a storybook, man.” - Joe Biden
""I've had a great relationship [with East Indians in America]. In Delaware, the largest growth in population is Indian Americans - moving from India. You cannot go to a 7-11 or a Dunkin' Donuts unless you have a slight Indian accent. I'm not joking." -- Joe Biden, speaking to Indian-Americans.
"“I don’t think John Edwards knows what the heck he is talking about," [when he calls for immediate withdrawal of troops from Iraq.] "John Edwards wants you and all the Democrats to think, ‘I want us out of there,’ but when you come back and you say, ‘O.K., John, what about the chaos that will ensue? Do we have any interest, John, left in the region?’ Well, John will have to answer yes or no. If he says yes, what are they? What are those interests, John? How do you protect those interests, John, if you are completely withdrawn? Are you withdrawn from the region, John? Are you withdrawn from Iraq, John? In what period? So all this stuff is like so much Fluffernutter out there." - Joe Biden"The American people will never knowingly adopt socialism. But, under the name of 'liberalism,' they will adopt every fragment of the socialist program, until one day America will be a socialist nation, without knowing how it happened."
- Norman Thomas, U.S. Socialist Party presidential candidate 1940, 1944 and 1948

I'm certainly NOT a fan of Joe Biden but I do have to acknowledge one thing he does with regularity. Whenever he's in his home state and a plane comes into Dover AFB carrying bodies of the soldiers killed overseas, he is right there when the plane lands.
Socialism is a philosophy of failure, the creed of ignorance, and the gospel of envy.

Isn't Biden more anti-gun than Obama? I remember watcing the debates and they've played the clip several more times. Some guy asked what would happen to his baby holding up his AK...Biden said..if that's his baby...he has problems.

He is a typical liberal democrat, if you like Chuck Schumer you will like Joe Biden. Now he has ads on TV playing up his so-caled Scranton roots but he has lived in Deleware since he was 10 years old, that is over 50 years ago that he left PA, now he is a native son, if he liked it so good he could have moved back and ran for office from here.

"The rifle is the weapon of democracy. If guns are outlawed, only the government will have guns. Only the police, the secret police, the military. The hired servants of our rulers. Only the government-and a few outlaws. I intend to be among the outlaws." (Edward Abbey, "The Right to Arms," Abbey's Road [New York, 1979])
I have my rifle. Do you?

They are just trying to get the vote for Scranton/PA, where Obama got destroyed by The Bitch prior to this (as you probably know). Yeah I agree with you, even though my city is kind of in the limelight for the moment, its almost irrelevent that he lived here until he was ten, like you said over 50 yrs ago.

What they don't tell you about is his son Hunter Biden.
Just another scum bag lawyer making money off his fathers influence.
Quote:
Of course, it is going to get a little awkward when the Obama-Biden tickets talks about Biden's son in Iraq and totally ignores the one the campaign describes "as a lawyer" who just so happened to rake in $380,000 in the first six months of the year thanks to his dad's connections.
