A registered sex offender is on the loose this morning and he may be with the young girl he is accused of abusing!

Troopers say they began looking for 37-year-old Mark Dougherty of West Hanover Township after he failed to update his current home and work address to comply with Megan's Law.

They believe he's with 34-year-old Angie Whitesel and an eight-year-old girl. Police say Dougherty was accused of sexually assaulting the girl while Whitesel is accused of interfering with their investigation and continuing to expose the child to him.

Police say the trio could be in a Plymouth Voyager van. They're believed to have left the area.

Anyone with information on their whereabouts is asked to call State Police Harrisburg at 671-7500.

Now this is just BEYOND fucking disgusting. (excuse my language but this time it's entirely appropriate!) I hope that girl's mother is charged as a sex offender too! What she is doing is no different IMO. I just have no more words.

anyone know why this jackass doesn't have a current address at a state prison?
The first vehicles normally on the scene of a crime are ambulances and police cruisers. If you are armed you have a chance to decide who gets transported in which vehicle, if you are not armed then that decision is made for you.

Be prepared, because someone else already is and no one knows their intent except them.

Yep. Because the average cost to house an inmate is 30-40k per year but to have them out on parole is only about 10k per year. State parole agents at some offices...probably most if not all of them....have 90-100 cases EACH. The state does not want to pay to have MORE agents to keep a shorter "leash" on these guys nor do they want to pay to house more of them...parole is cheaper. Oh yeah, and the libs don't want to kill anyone...you know, like murderers (contributes to overcrowding).

I couldn't agree more. As a father of two young daughters it breaks my heart. They both need to be locked up for a long time. How can a mother let this happen? Poor kid.

Yet a bullet cost less than .50. And so many volunteers to do the task.

I would rather read stories like this one. Figures this guy gets arrested while the molester is running free...

Dad chases nude boy from daughter's room with pipe

    The Associated Press

DELTONA, Fla. - An angry Deltona father whacked his teenage daughter's boyfriend with a metal pipe after finding the boy naked in his daughter's room.

Authorities say the father, 45, didn't even know his daughter had a boyfriend or that the youngster had been sneaking into the home for more than a year.

When he heard noises coming from his daughter's bedroom Thursday morning and saw a stranger standing naked on the girl's bed, he swung a metal pipe. He then chased the teen out the front door and called police.

The boy was taken to the hospital where doctors closed a head wound with staples.

The father was charged with aggravated battery on a child and bonded out on $10,000.
