Default .22lr ammo is disappearing fast!

Hey all, Sat i went to the Frackville mall ,i took my old lady's son to the movies with his friends, she was working so i went alone. I walked in Dunhams and browsed the ammo isle-I nearly froze i saw the entire shelf full of .22lr ammo like 150 -50 round boxes of Thunderbolts and 50 boxes of federal champion, i got all excited then picked up a few boxes of the champions, i saw the limit sign limit 4 boxes i started groaning putting a few back took 4 boxes and a bushmaster ar 30 rd mag over to the guns and browsed their selection of guns , i eyed the 12 gauge double barrel coach gun (sweet) and looked at the mosin nagants.

I paid for the stuff and left walked around the mall then put the stuff in my Jeep and went back in the mall waited for the kids finish the movie, i decided to sneak back into dunhams and try to buy 4 more boxes of .22 i eagerly walked to the ammo isle MOTHERFUCCK they were all gone!!!!!!!!i said to myself how can a near empty mall make ammo disappear that quickly!!!!! so much for the 4 box limit .22lr ammo is still getting harder to find!

    It's your obligation as a Man to own a .22, a shotgun, a handgun, and a rifle.

It disappears fast because every time people see it they buy the box limit set by the store.

Then they leave and come back 30 minutes later and buy the box limit again. Then they call their significant other to come down and buy their box limit as well.

Yeah...knock it the f@ck off already.

The ammo will never come back as long as everyone is out there buying whatever gets put out on the shelf. Case in point. This guy bought his 4...which he probably didnt really need and went back in to try and buck the system and buy 4 more.

Just stop it already. Wont someone please think of the children?

I shoot more than the box limit set by the store every time I go to the range.

Of course people should by the box limit.

It disappears so fast because dumbasses thought ammo would always be in the store whenever they wanted it and never kept around a little more than they needed. So when demand went up the Grasshopper panicked.

One of the gun counter people at my Dunhams tells me a local dealer stops in every morning to see what they have and buys what he can to resell in his shop. Overheard a couple Walmart employees saying the same thing a few months ago.
