Don't fret the source of the report -- he's a wingnut, but he's right on here.

About $25B (that's right, nine zeroes) of your tax dollars are going to go to make one incredibly gigantic company out of one big one, and one enormous one, and then put 20,000 people (around 6,000 or so in this area) out of work no later than this coming fall.

The TARP money was given to these institutions to shore up the small loan market, not to play hell with the lives of thousands of people for an 8% return over the course of 365 days.

Could be wrong but I think its the duty of the gov't to stop fucking everything up first before they create more gov't sponsored jobs on the back of the private industry that has to pay for them...
