New Holster = OC time
Just received my new Don Hume JIT slide for my newly acquired pt111 mil pro. So I had to show it off. Went to home depot to get some very fine steel wool. For polishing newly acquired firearm. Couldn't find the steel wool so I walked up to an employee with my new holster at 2 o'clock. Guy was a lot of help, very polite. So I thought lets walk by the customer service desk. Lady said with a smile can I help you did you find everything alright? So I purchased the wool and thought what good is a new holster with a new firearm without some new Hornady critical defense rounds. So I went to Dunhams. Looked at the rifles for awhile. Then an employee ask if I need help. Told him I needed some 9mm ammo. And told him the flavor I wanted. He handed them over. Went to the front where the rest of the employee's were. Paid and went home. I think everybody knew it was my new baby and didn't want to spoil its maiden voyage. I love this combo.

Re: New Holster = OC time
Good deal, how do you like the holster? Does it ride high. low or in the middle?

Wow. Now I know how comfortable it was. I had to think about that. It sits about the middle. Very nice. My other holster's for my sigma are a blackhawk serpa ( don't like that one) and a Desantis IWB ( this ones ok but sits low). I think I'm going to order one for my sigma this weekend.

Re: New Holster = OC time
Thanks for the reply. I find hoslters that sit middle of the belt work best for me. To high and it hampers my draw, to low and it digs into the hip. Sounds like this one may be just right.

I think the only people that look at my funny are my neighbors. At least the guy didn't try to tell you it was illegal to carry like that.
