Default Sig 220 45 SAS (anti snag & wood grips)

I was wondering if anyone had the limited edition Sig 220 45 SAS edition. That's the dehorned, wood grip, 2 toned version of the 4.4" bbl. I was thinking about getting one, and I was anxious to hear any feedback on this gun. I think that Blindref may have one. Thanks.

I've had my P220 Carry SAS for a little over a year now.
I really like the size, weight, and balance of this gun (and of course .45acp )
The DAK trigger isn't for everyone, but I liked it from the first time that I shot my P229 DAK. The trigger pull is nice and consistant all the way through until it breaks. There are many who don't like the length of the pull or the long reset.
I guess it's mostly a matter of opinion and individual tastes.

Like I suggest to everyone thinking about buying a certain gun, try to find a range that rents that particular gun, or someone that has it and will let you shoot it, before you plunk down your hard earned cash.
    Good luck!

    Thanks.
Not everybody likes the grips on the SAS models. They are somewhat thick. I have big hands and the grips fit me perfectly. I bought a set off of the Sig Forum for my P229 .40S&W DAK (I also bought extra sets for all three of my DAK Sigs)

    Top to bottom:

    P220 Carry SAS
    P229 .40S&W DAK
    P239 SAS 9mm

Wow! Great collection! I am getting the same one as the one on top, but 4.4 bbl., and I am anxious.

    They are great guns.
I'm sure you'll be happy with it, if not, I'll take it off your hands and give it a good home

He he he--that's nice to know. What kind of lube do you use on the rails?

    I use Mil-Comm TW25 and Hoppes oil.
I run a Q-tip with Hoppes oil on it in the grove that the slide runs in and put a small dab of the Mil-Comm on top of each rail on the frame and a small dab on top of the locking insert.
Sigs tend to run better on the wet side.
