Have been looking for the right variant of Finnish L-35 Lahti pistol and recently found one, similar to this one pictured:

Mine's a SA-stamped wartime frame in the 4000 s/n range with a new late 70s / early 80s barrel and "Flat Top" barrel extension. The late "flat top" replacement barrel extensions omitted the loaded chamber indicator, are marked "Valmet" instead of "VKT", and have better metallurgy.

Cross off another of an ever-shorter "short list" item, courtesy of an advanced collector friend who is downsizing. Good thing the short list is now extremely short because as time goes on I find myself losing interest in gun shows and gun shops. I am spending more time playing with what I have, and selling guns in which I no longer have any interest. This L-35 joins a SA-marked Finn M-08 9mm Luger with an almost 5" Tikka-made replacement barrel, and an SA-marked M1895 Nagant revolver.
