Collapsed ground blind damage
So last season, I finally got my first ground blind.
A company called Tidewe advertised a blind that you can see through the sidewalls but no one can see into.it.
Piqued my interest so eventually got one at about 139 bucks.
Easy to set up and break down.
I set it up at my 6 acre plot of land and hunted out of it a few times without success.
After the season, I got busy so didn't get back to the property fir a couple months.
During that time, we had a couple Polar Vortexs' and with snow, sleet, ice, the roof collapsed.
The outward pressure of the collapse snapped half the wall support fiberglass rods.
6 rods snapped at the connection.point hinged knuckle.

Shit. Really pissed at my self.
I emailed Tidewe and they said they could help.if I broke 1 or 2 but 6 was just too much damage.
I asked how much it would cost me to have 6 new fiberglass rods shipped. They said the cost would be high and wait time would also be long.
They told me if I would send them 40 bucks, they would send me a new blind.
Figuring the cost of new parts and shipping, I opted to send the 40.
This came today.

So, I got a new blind.
Now, looking at the damaged rods, I.believe I may be able to repair the 6 bad ones if I can either find new 3/8" rods or fab a metal 1 inch extension piece.
Thatll be after some Google fu.

If I can repair the bad pieces, i.may end up.with a couple blinds.
I will also.make an attachable center post to prevent something happening again.Opinions are like anal apertures. They all stink but mine.
