Something unwieldy, impractical, and very expensive

45-70. Was an impulse buy that I happened upon when the shop got in a new one and it struck me as one of those things you're not likely to randomly find out in the wild again. I think if I was actually setting out to get one I'd go .500 too. Because, come on, its a .500.
Recent acquisitions (past few months) by mostly by trade, some by purchase:
Another green parked 8-shot Ithaca 37 DS Police Special similar to this one but without the recoil pad; this makes four of them scattered about the house:https://gvx.blob.core.windows.net/it...e-s-236073.jpg
1942 made Colt New Service 357 Magnum, similar to this one in condition but 4" barrel and with black plastic grips and a lanyard ring, with "A.C.S.D" stamped on the bottom of the grip frame:

Uberti 1876 Winchester repro in 50-95 Express, the 20" "Texas Ranger" carbine; I already had the CH dies for a Uberti clone and some cases. Mine is similar to this one:

Remington 121, excellent condition, similar to this one:

Argentine 1909 Cavalry Carbine, all matching, mint bore, similar to this one, without bayonet. The vendor was internet-illiterate and was telling people it was "sporterized." People were setting it down after that. I got it for stupid low $$$:

Marlin 336Y "Spikehorn", JM marked North Haven production, Ballard rifling, figured and checkered walnut stock; thankfully not that dense, heavy laminated furniture they put on later versions. Crappy photo serving as an example:

Winchester-Miroku 1894 Sporting Rifle, 26", in 38-55; tackdriver with my handloads:

Kimber Pro Carry II, 38 Super, NIB. :

Marlin 1894PG, made only two years, a Pistol Grip 1894 in 44 Mag / 44 Spl. Very rare, and I got it for less than regular 1894 rifle price:
