Re: Kudos to Berks County
They have several offsite locations. I use the one on Rt.73 just outside of Boyertown. It takes longer to fill out the form, then it does for the Sheriff's to complete their portion. Weaknect is a great guy and will always get my vote, as long as he remains pro gun.

Hopefully, he's grooming a successor but are they still holding those remote events. I mean, deadly chirus and all. Besides, when I went to that one there were about 25 people ahead of me. At the airport I was alone...which was kind of scary, I thought the guy might be hungry and eat me.
Re: Kudos to Berks County
Glad to see a pro gun victory
Re: Kudos to Berks County
Think they have put the remote locations on hold. Everything is by appointments for now, or so i was told when i tried to stop in the airport to try for a quick renew.

You need to do the form online then submit for payment then you get an order number and make an appointment for your picture .

But why? I'm sensing that the man was there but he just wouldn't run the license.
Re: Kudos to Berks County
I will probably be living in Northampton county when I move back to Pennsylvania, but it's nice things like this thread that keep Berks County on my wish list. I keep a quiet eye on the Kutztown and Albany Township area.
Re: Kudos to Berks County
Surprisingly, my wife walked into the Dauphin County Courthouse without an appointment, and walked out with her LTCF in 15 minutes. She took the day off work just in case it took a few hours, arrived there at 8:05, and by 8:20, was out the door.
