if you like spending your money without getting back something you value in return, more power to you!
I'm on a computer enthusiast Vbulletin forum that gives me 1500 PM storage at no cost to me. They also have a pretty decent classifieds section. They require 100 posts in non-lounge type areas that are helpful or on topic to get access to the classifieds.

I don't think much of the minimum post count requirement. Doesn't that sometimes result in 100 garbage posts? You can't force someone to contribute good content.

Not very often. If the mods notice garbage posts from someone with less than 100, they give them a warning, and if they still keep posting crap, they get a ban. I got my 100 posts there almost 20 years ago.

The moderators do not want MORE to do.
That's why this mess exists in the first place.

If you like doing your best impression of a liberal mooch, taking something of value and not offering a financial contribution in return, more power to you.
I mean, honestly. After TWELVE PLUS years of using this site, you can't even find it within yourself to pony up a whole $1/month, but want to complain about how the classifieds work? Talk about cheap.

I think I give regular users on my forum space for 500 PMs for free.

I do believe I said I'd be willing to pay for more PM space if it was more than a measly 25 PM bump up from free.....but thanks for your concerns!
Re: Upcoming Classifieds Process and Rules Changes
Simple rule should be applied... if you abuse the classifieds you get a time out. No specifics, everyone can recognize abuse. Give mods free range to hand out timeouts and the classifieds fix themselves shortly.
Re: Upcoming Classifieds Process and Rules Changes
Someone posting good stuff that is selling quickly great let them keep selling. Someone is abusing the intent of the classifieds timeout for them, after a few timeouts ban. Mods discretion done.
