Have you tried going to the NRA website and putting in your zipcode?

Actually. Yes I did. All that comes up within 25 miles is the SensiblyArmed course. Now I know there has to be something else. I live right outside of Reading and would go to Lancaster or Lebanon no issues. I will look again. I was just hoping for a recommendation is all.
You could try Margaret Belcastro out of MASA (Muhlenberg Area Shooting Association). My wife and I took an NRA Basic Pistol Safety Course from her a few years back. I think she is certified to instruct a variety of NRA Classes.
I don't have her direct email address handy but you can reach her through the MASA Officers Page - http://www.muhlshooting.org/Club_Officers.asp
I'll give it a try, thanks!
Margaret's email is:
learn2shootsafely@yahoo.com
She is a certified NRA instructor.
Her card "Private or classroom instruction. Sensitive to beginners needs"
Very nice Lady.
Have fun and be safe.
I have an e-mail into her and a response already. I just need to give her a call. Thanks for the help.
Always open to additional suggestions.
I know I'm a bit late to the thread, but I have been running NRA FIRST Steps classes at the Lebanon County Police Combat Pistol Club. www.LCPCPC.com
You can also check with Enck's Gun Barn for Pistol First Steps classes.
Freedom Armory in Glen Rock Pennsylvania has a NRA a first steps class coming up soon.
