That was my gut feeling as well.
Re: New Firearms Classified All in One Question
I'm sorry for this change. I know we all as Conservatives generally don't like change, but this needed, at least for the temporary future.

This policy is subject to change, possibly even revert back.
Please just roll with it for now.

Advice for those who are listing parts for sale or want to buy - I recommend adding a 3 character abbreviation in the header of the thread, like:
Trigger Group: TGG - **** your brief description ****
Fire Control Group: FCG - **** your brief description ****
Bolt Carrier Group: BCG - **** your brief description ****
Barrel: BRL - **** your brief description ****
Revolver: REV - **** your brief description ****
Pistol: PIS - **** your brief description ****
Gun: GUN - **** your brief description ****
Rifle: RFL - **** your brief description ****
Shotgun: SHG - **** your brief description ****
Receiver: REC - **** your brief description ****
80%/flat/etc: 80P - **** your brief description ****
Black Powder Gun: BPG - **** your brief description ****
Upper Receiver: UPP - **** your brief description ****
etc,
etc,
etc
You all are more than welcome to come up with abbreviations.
This may help when doing searches with the Advanced Search tool.
3 letter "words" don't work. Do they?

They did last time I checked. I know (2) letter works don't for sure.
If (3) doesn't work, I'm sure we can come up with (4) letter abbreviations. ...I'm sure you got a few for us staffers. lol
Re: New Firearms Classified All in One Question
Are magazines "parts" or "accessories"?
Re: New Firearms Classified All in One Question
I say parts, because you kind of need the magazine for the gun to function. But a light, a laser, a vertical foregrip, etc: the gun functions fine without them.
Re: New Firearms Classified All in One Question
Mags still go in Ammo & Accessories, same with stocks and grips.
Firearms to including the major components required for the gun to be assembled and fired. Most mag fed guns will still function without a magazine(one shot at time).
Re: New Firearms Classified All in One Question
LOL! Have fun with that.
Gonna need a dolly to move all the ads that go in the wrong place through no fault of the poster.
I know you guys are up to the task though!

We already have to do that now.
