They will very well likely have some wheel guns to try.
Not sure what part of FL you're in, but I know there were at least (2) indoor ranges around Tampa that rented guns. One was on Dale Mabry, the other on US301.

Also this... revolvers are easy to shoot and go bang every time.
Not as popular, because everyone 'needs lots of rounds' in case they stumble into a gang of Crips.:)

Also, as everyone knows, peaceful protesters only travel in groups of six or less.

If you need to shoot seven protesters, then your life is figuratively over regardless... lawyer-up! ;)

Re: Mature Female carry weapon
Thanks guys n’ girls! I’ve always advocated:
Shoot one first, get your feel of it, handle it! My personal recommendation was a revolver. But...the movies and cop shows strike a cord with new shooters...” a Glock”!
Among other firearms I do have a G19 but I cannot support “it has a safety”. It does not...I know...”the safety is your brain”. Unless you’re maintaining your skills, shooting often, carrying consistently...I still like a safety, mechanical! Thus the thought on the EZ. She does like my XD 9.

S&W Shield EZ recall... See link..
ours was within the manufacturing dates, But our SER# came back ....this serial number is not affected by this recall.

I was wondering what type of holster you'd get that could carry one of those without throwing out a hip.
Re: Mature Female carry weapon
I have a different take. Let her figure it out. She should read up on options - internet, magazines etc.., watch youtube videos, read forums like this, show some initiative to try things that she is interested in. She needs to be learned and prepared if she is going to carry a firearm to potentially take a human life. IMHO

350 thanks. I didn’t get into all the words but always preached the “shooter” has to choose, man, woman, whoever.
Great family background! What area of Carolina?
