I would like to introduce myself I am Jesse and I live in McSherrystown, PA. I filed for my LTCF on January 26, with no convictions not so much as a speeding ticket I am hopeful I will be approved soon. Just wanted to say hey.

Hey, I just moved here last April and did the same thing. Adams county takes the maximum allowed time, so don't expect your letter to get there early (although I have heard of a few that did).
Excellent. I'm just up 116 from you. Muller will take the 60 days and will call your references.
[shameless plug] If you are looking for a place to shoot, check out www.acsha.com [/shameless plug]
Cmon guys dont tell me that... I cant complain though Im from MD so anything is better then that.
My wife and I got ours back with in 10 days. I guess a lot depends on your PICS check and the sharif checking your references. Welcome to Adams.
Howdy,
I'm in your back yard. You won't have a problem getting one. They do check you out but why shouldn't they? Congratulations on the decision to exercise your rights.
My letter came in two weeks. I was suprised. And, yes, they will check your references.
Couple of other clubs locally you might want to check out for shooting etc. are McSherrystown Fish and Game Protective Assn. and Green Springs Rod and Gun Club.
Man this wait really sucks, got my handgun and new IWB holster and no LTCF. Has anyone ever called to check the status of there application?
Just got back from visiting a friend in Adams. He had to take his paperwork to the local municipality, was informed that "it takes two weeks for everybody", and it did. He then took the application to the Sherrif, who approved him for his LTCF in short order. Same bullshit, local sherrifs making up the rules as they go along.
If we can't kill character and reputation, lets go straight to Constitutional Carry and get OUR right to keep and BEAR arms out of the hands of government, and back into ours. Read Article I, Section 21 of PA Constitution.
