PA's US Senate Seat Election 2022
Pat Toomey is going to do us a favor and vacate his US Senate seat next round and candidates for the position are starting to announce. I don't remember who has tossed their hats into the ring thus far but a new one showed up in today's paper by the name of Everett Stern.
Here's his claim that would be of great interest to all of us.
Quote:
The 2nd Amendment. It is one of the bedrock foundations of American life. The right to defend yourself, your home and your loved ones is nothing short of sacred.
American gun owners have been vilified for too long. The sacred right to keep and bear arms is under assault from leftist intellectuals who consider their Socialist agenda more important than your family’s safety.
When I’m in the U.S. Senate, there will be no one who will more fiercely defend the 2nd Amendment and no one who will stand stronger for Pennsylvania’s responsible gun owners.

Re: PA's US Senate Seat Election 2022
I'll check him out... Thanks....
-
Re: PA's US Senate Seat Election 2022
One statement does not make him pro 2nd. We need to know more about him and I hope the Republican Party does wait till the last damn minute to give us a candidate.
-
Re: PA's US Senate Seat Election 2022
My bet is the Dems will manufacture enough Philly and Pittsburgh votes to make the name and platform of the GOP candidate, irrelevant.
I predict GOP no longer wins PA statewide elections.

Hope you're wrong but I know my ONE, REAL vote will go to someone who supports individual liberties...

The Dems won't cheat and steal votes.

Re: PA's US Senate Seat Election 2022
I*ll be putting up an Everett Stern for senate sign unless he is dead or I find someone better.

Re: PA's US Senate Seat Election 2022
And today we have two more candidates who have tossed their hats into the ring. One is a left wing loony named Val Arkoosh. She is currently head commissioner in MONTCO and she is the queen of keeping it shut down in MONTCO. If this woman wins the seat, we are royally fucked (as if we aren't already). And the second one is Kathy Barnette on the Republican ticket. She ran for US Rep against Madeleine "Mad Maddy" Dean in 2020 and of course, she did not win. Kathy is a good candidate but Everett Stern seems to be solid as well. If we could either of those two, it would be great.

Re: PA's US Senate Seat Election 2022
There was also a report that Philly Mayor Kenney might throw his hat into the ring... oh goodie!
-
Re: PA's US Senate Seat Election 2022
never heard of the two repubs listed in this thread but I certainly heard of kenney and lurch. Unless Ima living under a rock, name recognition for these repubs may be a problem.

Re: PA's US Senate Seat Election 2022
Cathy Barnett is a conservative black woman. The PA MSM and socialist media will do their best to deplatform her, and deny that she exists.

Re: PA's US Senate Seat Election 2022
Regarding Kathy Barnette would love to support a black female conservative who will give whichever democrat nominee a real headache trying to paint her a racist white male. Can't find her platform positions (e.g., 2A) with a preliminary look. Can get a sense of her from her media page on her web site.

Re: PA's US Senate Seat Election 2022
Another candidate emerges.
Sean Gale - and his brother Joe Gale will be running for Governor.
You can read about them here:https://nationalfile.com/exclusive-p...blishment-gop/
Most of it is about Joe, the candidate for Governor.
Regarding Sean for the Senate:
"Sean Gale, Joe’s brother and candidate for US Senate, also spoke, decrying RINOs and the swamp in Washington. However he went further. “Even someone like Ted Cruz, who has a solid voting record,” Sean Gale monologued. “The way I differ from Ted Cruz is that I’m a disrupter.” He also went after people like Kim Klacik and Charlie Kirk, who he accused of only using their platforms for monetary gain.
Sean talked about some of his primary opponents, and how he’s the only proven conservative in the race. During the Q&A segment, both brothers spoke out against big tech censorship, specifically praising Clarence Thomas’s statements in a recent SCOTUS case, and Ron DeSantis’s anti-censorship bill in Florida as steps in the right direction."

I sent an email from her website inquiring about her platform and specifically her stance on 2A, Constitutional concealed carry, interstate reciprocity, mag limits, modern sporting rifle weapons bans, etc. Will see what may come.

Re: PA's US Senate Seat Election 2022
Unless republitards find a way to verify ballots in Philadelphia and prevent democrats from stealing elections running for office is a waste of time and money. Free and fair elections are a fantasy democrats have basically nullified voting as a way of choose representatives. I guess you really can't call them representatives either, maybe MC's (members of Congress) like the once great British Parliament and in the upper chamber we can call them Lords. Face it we've lost the country and this state to communism because people stayed home when it was time to vote many years ago.

I have to be a bit more optimistic for the sake of my children and grandchildren. Again, the dem machine will have a helluva time figuring out how to re-tool against a black female candidate on the (R) side. All their usual racist sexist homophobe tropes won't work and resorting to Aunt Tom antics could easily backfire.

They should now call them in the USA what it's called in the rest of the world "selections". I once read something from history that rings true to this very day.

I'll carefully assess all the primary candidates, and hope to avoid another Toomey-esque RINO / waffler.
OTOH, "able to win" is a big factor for me too. I'd rather a pretty-good candidate that can win than a great candidate who will lose. A black woman may trump (no pun intended) any white male candidate on that basis. I'll probably take some isht for saying it, but I might consider voting for her in the primary even if she's not the absolute-strongest 2A candidate (will NOT vote for her if she's actually waffly, though - first time the phrase 'common sense' drops from her lips re: guns, I'm out.)

Re: PA's US Senate Seat Election 2022
If the candidate is not "electable" in a statewide race its irrelevant.
Kathy Barnett is my choice at this point in time.

He ran against Connor Lamb for U.S. Representative in Allegheny's 17th District. He didn't loose by much..I believe it was 700 votes or less. We also--unfortunately have fetterman in the race as well. *facepalm*

Re: PA's US Senate Seat Election 2022
His (and Rep Mike Kelly) was also the strongest of the PA lawsuits regarding the stolen election, and they had standing. Yet SCOTUS dismissed it

He ran against Conor Lamb for the House. He's also written a few books. The fiction books are OK. His non fiction book Outlaw Platoon is really awesome. It's about when he served in Afghanistan. The guy had a cracked skull with spinal fluid leaking from his ears for months and still stayed with his men.

Kathy Barnette is scheduled to be on Hannity tonight at 2100 for those who watch Hannity and want to learn about Barnette.

Re: PA's US Senate Seat Election 2022
.
If you try to look up Parnell on google you won't find a link to his website.
if you use Duck Duck Go or Bing it shows right up.
shows they're afraid of him.
on Nov 3rd when they stopped counting he was way ahead.
when they resumed he wound up losing by like 12,000 votes

This. Because of the Philadelphia and Pittsburgh effect, we need a middle of the road candidate that appears liberal, but votes pro 2A if we have any hope to win. Sort of a reverse Toomey. A hard right conservative will likely lose when votes are counted, manufactured, whatever.
Problem is, to find such a candidate.

That is interesting, a link to his website does not show up until the 3rd page for me. When I type in the other candidates their websites show up right away.

Re: PA's US Senate Seat Election 2022
The majority of the country is conservative. Just look at comments on political videos on YouTube, etc. Dems carry the cities which is where the counting takes place. And democrats are completely corrupt! Every democrat is a liar. They can*t help it because they are a Godless, immoral-sub species. And as a result they WILL lie & cheat every time they get the opportunity.

Re: PA's US Senate Seat Election 2022
And we have another candidate in Carla Sands. I don't see anything regarding her stance on the 2A.

Conor "Fuckface" Lamb to announce bid for Senate next month:

We need to work to make sure this anti gun scumbag isn't elected.
