Re: My 5 year 302 battle comes to an end!
Did Joshua have an opinion as to why the PSP kept appealing a 302?

I can't believe you found a Doctor to sign off. I wouldn't think any of them would want the possible liability.

Five years is a long time to fight...regardless of what it is...savor the victory.
Yeah it was a long trying process that's for sure! There were many times I just felt like throwing the towel in but thankfully I was smart enough to keep fighting instead of giving in.

Long story short is two weeks prior to the initial hearing the PSP magically found an application for a 303 on top of the 302. It was allegedly issued the day after I was admitted, however there weren't any court documents or an actual trial as required. There were a lot of discrepancies on that form and the argument on their part was the judge didn't have the power to declare the 303 expunged even though I never had a trial and was discharged within the time frame of a 302.

No hearing and no documents. It seems like the PSP was bullying and forcing you to spend more money.

Did a state police officer complete the petition part of the 302 document?

Yeah, to make the whole thing worse for them was the fact that my notification of health commitment had the 302 checked so it made no sense on the 303 stuff. Ultimately I think that's what held it up and why they appealed over and over.

I'm not sure which form that would be on, I have so many PDF's related to the case and briefs etc.

This is unfortunately how the system often works.
Government will deliberately drag out legal action for years even if they have no case, because they know most people will give up or run out of money.
Victory by default is a very common strategy when dealing with organizations that have unlimited budgets.
