Where can they be found ?

I have owned a farmhouse in Tylersville since 1989. I retired in 2008 and am now living here. I have good trout fishing in Fishing Creek , which borders my property. I have not tried many of the other streams in the area and was hoping someone could advise on a stream close by that has good smallmouth bass fishing.

It depends how far you want to travel. The lower end of Pine Creek near Avis is great small mouth fishing. Bald Eagle creek is not far from you and the West Branch from Jersey Shore down is good.

Baker Run has good trout fishing, that's going up the Renovo road. With all this rain you'll have to wait till they stock it in the spring. You'll need a good 4x4 or like to hike.


Bald eagle creek has some good small bass fishing. You can get to that by central mountain high school, or the lower end of Lock Haven
