That's pretty fucked up that you can't stop people from trespassing on your land.
(gets some popcorn)
Yes,that really is.I saw a video of a property owner who confronted dog hunters on his land. The hunter was either an asshole or he was well aware of the law as he was giving the property owner a hard time about it.
And every state I know of allows you to shoot dogs that are chasing deer. Could get interesting but I think this will work itself out.Quote:
The law only allows hunters to enter private property during deer season
So stop bitching about it.Quote:
The law was originally established in 1938
Yes- an exception to the criminal trespass and Game statutes:
Quote:
18 Pa CSA §3503
(c.1) Applicability.--This section shall not apply to an unarmed person who enters onto posted property for the sole purpose of retrieving a hunting dog.
Quote:
34 Pa CSA § 2314. Trespass on private property while hunting.
(b) Applicability.--This section shall not apply to an unarmed person who enters onto posted property for the sole purpose of retrieving a hunting dog.
In the article, I believe the dogs were after the guys livestock. My thought is unattended dogs on my private property, harassing my stock will be shot fairly quickly.
I used to set 1 3/4 and #2 traps during trapping season. That tends to make people watch where they let there dogs run.
