At the very least, its an opportunity for someone to play the race card with Vega's supporters saying Krasner is racist while Krasner's supporters will say Vega is anti-semitic. Might as well sit back and watch the fireworks with that one lol
Vega was a career prosecutor. Many successful years prosecuting homicides. At least he is on the correct side of the table. I met him a handful of times and heard nothing but praise about his work. Not sure what Borekfk is referring to about anti-Semitic, but I am sure the smear campaigns will be fierce.
Anyone would be better than Krasner. He is a career defense attorney, (and we need defense attorneys) but not super progressive ones, wearing the District Attorney*s hat, trying social experiments.
I am worried that the Soros Team will find & fund a third (or more) Democrat Candidate to split the vote & allow Krasner to win again. That is part of what happened last DA*s Election.

Here's a perfect illustration of how the media in Philadelphia is complicate in covering for Krasner's mistakes.
Meet Marcel Jenkins, carjacker.
https://philadelphia.cbslocal.com/20...-police-chase/
Now hear from one of his victims
https://6abc.com/carjacking-victim-r...pect/10357339/
Note that the article text says
Officials say more information about Jenkins' criminal past and mental health history will be forthcoming as the investigation continues.
Note then that newscaster Trish Hartman says at 2.13
Jenkins has a lengthy criminal record. A spokesman for the Philadelphia District Attorney's Office says some of his charges were withdrawn or dismissed. Jenkins was enrolled in mental health treatment.

Wonder how many millions Soros will sink into Krapner's coffers this time?

My error. Confused Krasner and Kenney. It is better to have a prosecutor for DA than a defense attorney though.

No problem. I agree, while both are important positions, Krasner had an agenda that had nothing to do with actual criminal prosecution.

What is/was his agenda? I can't see anything rational about his actions.

Criminal Justice Reform. He doesn*t believe anyone (well mostly except for certain exceptions) should be prosecuted for their criminal actions. And if they are prosecuted, his prosecutors either give sweetheart deals or incompetent prosecution. And finally if actually found guilty, lobby the judge for the most lenient sentence. He is basically an extreme liberal defense attorney posing as the district attorney.
