Need 'smith to work on 1915 Springfield 410 shotgun
I've got a 1915 Springfield 410 SBS that I rec'd from my father when I first started hunting. It's in very nice shape and I don't shoot it much anymore, but when I last had it out something happened with the locking lever in that it no longer returns to lock the breach by itself when you close it. Now I have to move the lever manually. I live near Dillsburg, but I'm willing to travel a reasonable distance to have someone that really knows what he's doing fix this. Any suggestions/recommendations welcomed.

Sorry to be a little long in responding to this. I called Carlisle Gunworks and after a brief chat took my gun over there. He looked it over and told me it wouldn't be a problem to fit, but that it might be a month as he was fairly busy. I didn't think that was unreasonable it the work was good. We agreed on a cost range and I left the gun to be fixed. In less that 2 weeks I get the call that the gun is finished. I picked it up the other day and everything was great. To make it even better the price was less than what we'd discussed! I couldn't be more pleased. I will definitely be back. I'd recommend CG for anyone needing a good 'smith.
