Wilson combat short reach trigger for Beretta 92
Installed a wilson combat short reach trigger on my new Beretta 92a1. Most of the reviews online i read basically said it felt like a regular trigger on a Beretta.
I bought it to replace the polymer trigger. I was already ordering from Wilson combat so i figured why not.
Finally got the last piece i was missing and put my Beretta back together.
IT IS NOTHING LIKE THE FACTORY TRIGGER! I absolutely HATE it!! I have (what i hope) is a factory metal trigger coming.
It puts the trigger way the heck too far back. Yes, i guess you could call this shorter reach. But it seems like trying to fit a gun that is too big into somebody's hand.
Just awkward all around.
Thankfully, this gun is currently just living in a drawer until it is all worked out.
I'm sure this thing would be okay for somebody. But i just can't figure out who this is marketed toward. It's like trying to put a square peg into a round hole.

Your significant other is a lucky girl. Not every man has such sensitive fingers. :D

Haha. I've got big hands, play guitar, and shoot guns... My lady like my hands.

Quick follow up. Ordered a metal trigger from midwest gun works. Factory Beretta. Fits and feels great. When you hold the Beretta trigger and the Wilson combat up to reach other, there is barely any difference. I don't get it.
Functionally, the Beretta trigger feels better and gives better mechanical leverage making the trigger feel lighter and smoother.

Thanks for the review, I thought about doing the conversion , but it is like what Sig is doing with thier short reach triggers. Saved me some bucks.
