Re: 9mm Ammunition Misfires
I hate that ammo. It is the dirtiest ammo I have ever shot. It's like shooting black powder or blanks. BTW, PPU makes decent rifle ammo. But that 158 9mm SUCKS.
If you do some web searches you will find one or two people complained of keyholing and baffle strikes with it about 5 years ago. Maybe it was one, maybe two, I forget. I think it was a brief issue and haven't heard of it since.
I know that ammo selection is limited nowadays. But when you have the choice, try Fiocchi 158. I love that ammo so much. Also, as I'm sure you know, the standard 147 grain ammo out there is subsonic.
Re: 9mm Ammunition Misfires
Thanks for the feedback on PPU. Poor quality is what I suspected and you confirmed it. I also like the Fiochhi 158

I shot 100 rounds yesterday for the first time with no problems.
Re: 9mm Ammunition Misfires
I never had a problem with the PPU/Prvi Partisan ammo, but if it came down to it I would shoot Fiocchi all day and night and never shoot anything else if possible.
