Anyone want to be my reference? :)

I'm driving towards Lawrence County this morning and the Sheriff's Office told me my references must be from the county.

Your references can be from anywhere in the world.

Ask the Sheriff to show you where on the application it has any other requirement other than "not family"

He has ZERO authority to edit the application or add his own policies

I know. I just don't feel like getting in a argument over the fact that this is absolute BS while I'm taking my kid to the Children's Museum. If I was taking a day off work and driving there just for this I'd make them reject it in writing and entertain going to court over it.

But she was pretty adamant that they'd refuse to accept the application so I thought I'd use the power of the internet to outsmart them.

Surely there are two people out there and my reputation online is fairly evident as to who I am :)
