Northampton County LTCF Renewal

Went to the courthouse today to renew my LTCF. Paid the $20 on the 2nd floor and went down to Sheriff's office. Young lady getting her picture taken and I was at the desk in less than a minute. Turned my paperwork in, sat for a picture and signed, and I was out the door in less than 5 minutes. They said 45 days I will get it in the mail. Very quick! Only restriction was there can only be two people in the office at one time. I'm posting this because I looked here prior to going and didn't see any posts about COVID restrictions or appointments or the like. No wait, no issue, out in a few minutes.

I had the same experience a couple months ago, took the entire 45 days to receive the license.

Hopefully new licenses are quicker than 45 days and that's what they're prioritizing. But a renewal in anything under 45 is good news too that they don't have a 5 month appointment backlog like others...

That's what I was worried about. Mine expires Nov 30th.

Applied for my new license the day after you and received it this week exactly a month after applying. Just for context, they also told me 45 days.

Yes, mine took a little less than a month to come back. My wife just put her renewal in last week. We were in and out of the courthouse in less than 10 minutes.

Mine takes about 15 mins , but I am in Berks ,,,,it baffles me the differences between counties.

Renewed on January 5, 2021 in person at the Sheriff's Office. Application was accepted. New LTCF is listed as issued February 3, 2021, received on February 15, 2021.
