Re: Gunsmith in Cambria County
It was about 2 years ago...heres the thread \/ \/. Maybe you can follow up on some of these leads. Worst case, just go into the gunsmith forum and make a post asking for CURRENT gunsmiths that thread and accept shipments. (unless you wanna drive)

Re: Gunsmith in Cambria County
I think I may skip the Ghost Hunting and just jump right into Gunsmithing Forum like you mentioned. I would be more than willing to pay $65 for the job.. If anyone knew of a Machine Shop that can and is willing to do the work, I'd even go down that route. I think the price doubles for a rifle because it is "specialty"... Mess up on a barrel and you could be in some trouble haha
Re: Gunsmith in Cambria County
I hear ya
I know we're passed this, but I honestly just stumbled across this thread in searching for something else. Theres proof, typed by his own hand.

I was thinking that...but then again you said you've tried getting a hold of the guy to no avail.

haha, Well.......I kinda figured unless someone new starts a business or we discover someone who was hiding, we've pretty much established central PA is out of the question at this point ;) I was just looking for anyone whos reasonable that accepts shipments.

I certainly appreciate all the digging! I have sent them an email, want to see if they will drill and tap for a front sight post as well :D
