Bear with me.
Does anybody make (or know of) a 22lr pistol (or conversion kit) with higher recoil to simulate shooting a larger caliber?
Just something to simulate shooting a 9mm with more recoil than is typically offered in 22.

I don't know that you can change physics that much, even a Jennings or an NAA mini revolver in .22lr doesn't have any recoil
I suppose you could put a very light recoil spring (handmade probably) into a pistol which would allow the slide to go backwards with more force thus more felt recoil. BUT, would that spring have enough forward force to allow the slide to chamber the next round?
Best off just shooting 9mm.
If flinching is an issue, dry fire is good. A snap cap or two loaded in randomly into the mag can show a lot also during the attendant click.
Shoot a 32acp. Not much recoil on those
CCI Stingers have a little more snot to them, and more noticeable recoil.
Probably just as expensive and hard to find as .32 right now.
If you're already able to handle recoil, shoot the .22 of your choice and have fun. You're not going to magically become weak. Trigger time is always good.
