Selling a shockwave on gunbroker?
Does anyone know if we can sell a 20ga Mossberg shockwave on gunbroker? They're getting some ridiculous pricing and I could use the funds elsewhere. I'd sell locally but wanted to ask if anyone knew the legality here for interstate sales on these.
Thanks
Re: Selling a shockwave on gunbroker?
You can pretty much sell anything on broker (legally).
I bought a machine gun and suppressor from broker.
Re: Selling a shockwave on gunbroker?
I understand that, I guess I'm just unfamiliar with the laws regarding the shockwave across state lines. Being classified a firearm rather than specifically a pistol or shotgun... Not looking to get myself into any pickles if such exist. I appreciate the help.
Re: Selling a shockwave on gunbroker?
Regardless of who buys it (in PA or out of state), it will need to go through a FFL. It can get expensive to ship it yourself to a buyers FFL in or out of state. Some FFL's will ship it for you to your buyers FFL for much less.
Re: Selling a shockwave on gunbroker?
A point to consider it if you use a PA FFL dealer to ship it I believe it will remove the Shockwave in your name from the Pa state police registry.
Re: Selling a shockwave on gunbroker?
No issues. Just ship to an FFL.
Would that need to ship next day air (with no FFL on seller's end)? It's not a handgun, but it's not a long gun either.

If selling on GB, I'd just put the shipping cost on the buyer and go with next day.
Shipping guns is not worth risking the loss by not declaring contents, unless it's a HiPoint, lol. I got a break at UPS recently though as I shipped an HK SP5 upper (serialized part) and explained at the counter that it was a handgun receiver, the serialized part. Counterperson asked, 'Is it a complete gun?' No. 'Then you can go ground.' $40 compared to $90.
