Serious about that. We all bring a breakfast dish or doughnuts from all over the state(and bacon), maybe a couple of portable grills. (George Foreman-style griddle rather than open flames would likely be smart)
Dunkin Donuts has boxed coffee or someone can bring a camping percolator with power source. :D
Anyone who bring Panera Bread * coffee to a 2A rally gets banned from the forum.
*or starbucks.

Sounds like a good idea - you'll have to get there early enough to enjoy it though. Last time around I rolled in right around 9 (coming from PIT) and we were heading out within 20 minutes. I'm probably staying the night before now, so I'll grab "tailgating supplies" where ever is close enough to where I'm staying.

Well a box of Starbucks probably costs $250, so I doubt that would happen anyways. :D
People seem to forget about Panera so I used a reminder.

One thing I wanted to note now that's changed from June - this rally starts at 11am, so we have extra time to muster in the garage before things kick off.
Re: Stand Your Ground Against Socialism: Right to Keep and Bear Arms Rally Sept. 29 2
Since I plan to attend the Sept. 29 2A rally, I decided to buy a pair of laser protective safety glasses. The glasses supposedly protect from lasers in the 200nm to 2000nm range, with green lenses. I felt this was an inexpensive($16 from amazon) safety measure since the p'antifa/BLM crowd have been targeting LEO's eyes, mostly with green lasers.
My post is two-fold, 1) to make those interested in eye protection that it is available and; 2) to ask anyone here if that protection range seems gtg.

OK, I'm not a doctor and I have not stayed at Holiday Inn in years, but ...
Admitting my ignorance, what I could find online is that military, police, pilots, etcetera, at a minimum, use glasses that protect in three, separate wavelength spectrums, and which start at about $200.
So, the Amazon glasses you found ... probably better than nothing, but not ideal. If you're serious about laser protection, it's spendy for effective stuff.

The specialty glasses others have mentioned can be good. Keep in mind some of the ones marketed to pilots are designed for protection when used beyond 1000'. Also be aware that most are designed to protect against laser pointers with a power rating below 5W, so it will protect you against most stuff, but not everything - I'm just saying don't be overly reliant on them. If you're worried about lasers, then you're probably concerned about projectiles too - Z87+ should be part of your search criteria.

simple reflective fog free sunglasses. some of you bigger guys will just have to take the laser for me because i'll be ducking behind you.

sounds like assault to me, in fear of bodily harm!
