Re: Tac-14 Concealed/Transport
It is an "other firearm" under the GCA'68 to how FFL's must deal with them.
It is a "firearm" under PA law, so a FFL must fill out the state police form, and you have a duty when selling to have a background check performed on the buyer. Anything declared a "firearm" under PA law is treated like handguns, requiring a LTCF to merely have in your vehicle, or carry concealed. ...which means if you do have a LTCF, you can carry it loaded in a vehicle.

Yep, that 26" is horseshit with AOW's. There is no overall measurement in law. Some dumbass at the ATF misunderstood the "concealed/concealable" aspect which is meant towards disguised guns (a gun that looks like a cactus, etc). But in all, that dumbass determination is in our favor, for now.

So who*s going to be the first to take a deer with a Shockwave / Nightstick / TAC-14? Given the size of the firearms they should excel on hunts in heavy brush. That would ideally settle the *sporting* argument.

Fudd heads would surely explode. Plus, I think you would have a hard time arguing that it was a shotgun and not a shotgun at the same time.
Re: Tac-14 Concealed/Transport
So even AR pistols are fine to carry loaded in a car with a LTCF, didnt know that. Would an AR pistol with an 11.5 inch barrel and SBA 4 brace be within the law.

I picked up a crap-ton of slugs to practice for this deer season. I might even carry it for a day bear hunting. Would be great for tight brush!

They sure are fine loaded in a vehicle with a LTCF, and a great platform for 95% of situations. Get a 12.5" and you can throw a VFG on too ;) since we are talking AOWs and such.

I'm confused here. I see arguments both for and against carrying one of these loaded on your person/in a vehicle.
The ATF letter seems to indicate concealed carry would be a problem, but then it seems PA definition of firearm noted here covers carry and being loaded in a vehicle under the authority of a LTCF.
.
Is there a specific case or point of reference for clarification on that point?
