Yes, they are going to use the panic around the virus to push their Anti-Constitution agenda. It will advance in the House for sure along partisan lines but with RINO support for cosmetics. In the Senate, it will advance because the Senate is basically a Democrat Party fiefdom when you add the RINOs to the mix. Senators like Mitt and our own Pat Toomey will likely vote for this. Think of the others. Murkowski, Collins, Burr, Lamar Alexander, Mitch, Graham, Cornyn etc. It will come down to a Presidential Veto. The virus will help it along but I think it was going to happen no matter what.
This will be pushed hard and used as a political hammer against the President in the last half of the election cycle. The RINOs and the Democrats will force him to either veto "common sense" gun control or sign it and alienate his base. Neither the RINOs or Democrats want him returned to office.

The house doesn't look good. Trump's impeachment kept them distracted for a while. However whether or not they want to mess with a gun ban like this during an election year who knows. The Senate ; if the GOP wants to keep it these bills better not even get anywhere near the floor.
