HK single stack subcompact.
Re: HK single stack subcompact.
Not that final design has to follow the design patent exactly, but I'm not really interested in it. No paddle magazine release, slide release in the wrong location, just doesn't seem to do anything better than anything already out there.
My dream carry gun list is:
Double-ish stack (like is all the rage nowadays with the 365 and Hellcat)
Hammer, or exposed striker that you can block while holstering
Paddle magazine release
Slide release big enough to hit easily, but not in a location you're likely to accidentally ride it
Aggressive texturing, checkering preferred
Light rail
Optics cut

I agree with this initial assessment based on the drawings. Hell, it may not be something they're actually bringing to market. In any case, nothing that would compel me to move from P365 yet. They're a little late to the game, as usual.

But at least HK really vets their stuff before sending out to the public... They don't have the teething problems other gun companies do. Curious how many rounds it will hold and have extra capacity mags available.

Yet another striker fired gun. How about a single stack based on the USP?

Totally agree here. I don't see me moving away from my P365 anytime soon either. Unless I decided to OC something bigger with a much larger capacity, which I don't see happening.

I would buy like 5 of those. No one has cared about us hammer guys. There's the XDE, but yuck.

Yep , the Nazi's have always made very efficient implements of death.
Re: HK single stack subcompact.
Not to be a "killjoy" but when I first looked at the drawings- I said "man that looks like a Springfield Hellcat". When I clicked on the youtube video under Reference at the bottom of the webpage my suspicious were correct. It seems HK is trying to model a Hellcat. This outta be good. Sounds like a Patten infringement lawsuit in the making.
