Ha! Ha! I remember when the PGC said there were 38 deer per square wooded mile in PA. Soon after they said it was impossible to count the elk herd because there was no snow down that year. I later brought up the 38 deer per square wooded mile and a representative on a forum denied they ever stated that.

No, I never got a reply.
Re: PA Game Commission survey
Looked up PA G C surveys. Last reported survey is listed as 2014. There is a choice of PGC Surveys. Clicking on it invites to take a survey, but you have to be able to provide the survey number. So, can OP or someone please provide the survey number of the current survey?

My card says survey ID: 144. Hope that helps.
Re: PA Game Commission survey
I thought 144 was the number assigned to you. Thanks, I'll try it.
Re: PA Game Commission survey
Nope. But here is the 2018 (latest) report on results of the 2017 random survey. Pretty interesting. Two things not asked...type of gun used (handgun, shotgun, rifle) and no questions on how do you feel about semi-auto rifles for deer.
