The problem is they are going to most likely be back out on the street in like 2-4 years or worse because the local DA's are sooooooo sympathetic to the criminals not even charge them because he learned his lesson when he was shot.
I figure that he probably would have died if they just left him lay there, rather than take him to a hospital who's services he's not going to pay for. It would have a win for society all the way around.

The perp may not do too much time for his crimes but perhaps he will wind up shitting into a disposable bag for the rest of his life,

*Only* 18 rounds fired? 17 + 1 in the chamber?
I bet he did not have a second magazine.

No time like your biggest week of the year for all the assholes to come out of the woodwork I guess.
I was at the pro game. Got shuttled over from Penn college area with our LL team. Security was pretty lax too for the pros and a former pres being in attendance.

That's surprising, would've thought it'd be tighter than that. My wife even said "how do you think that works with all these shootings and the secret service there?" Saw the one SS guy was about 5 ft behind Bush, on the stairs.

There was a decent police presence. Saw one swat looking team (probably due to bush) mustering up just inside the fence behind the media area. Entrance was fairly easy. You walked through some type of metal/weapons detecting thing, but they weren't stopping anyone I saw. I don't know if it was working or just for show. I had my usual pocket knife on me and walked right in. I probably could have carried concealed honestly, I didn't want to chance ruining it for the kids though, so I didn't try.
You couldn't really buy a ticket for the game, they were all given out by little league, so that might have something to do with it.
