Other than employing what should be your daily 'situational awareness', I think you're good to go. My belief is that the recent "threats" over the holiday were just smoke, and perhaps a test to see what the response would be. By all accounts, despite many many people being in town for the holiday, things were calm, even when opposing opinions were in close proximity.
Please remember (if I recall correctly) you can CC on gov't park land, but NOT INSIDE gov't buildings. Same as Valley Forge.

I'm not aware of any such prohibition, but would love to know if someone has more solid info on this. It piques my interest, because some idiot commenter was also proclaiming that the federal prohibition applies to "cemeteries" too when specifically discussing Gettysburg. They've had two BLM protests on the square, all peaceful, brainwashed (mostly white women) holding signs, sticking to the sidewalk.
