Re: Post your Preps/Tips and ideas.
i'm low on "comfort" meds. they are very expensive and for the most part we have to avoid pseudoephedrine.
we've got a lot of antihistamine and a bit of cough med.
guess i should add sugar free cough drops and coricidin.
we're well stocked on tylenol ibproufen, aspirin, and a varitiy of scripts outside of the wife's BP and cholesterol meds.
in jan the dr gave me something like 200 doses of codeine/antihistamine liquid... i took 3.
but i was thinking about the coronavirus thread where they are speaking of a loaded medical system, is everyone stocked on superglue and bandaids?
those that can stitch, you got supplies? medical gauze and tape? hemostatic bandages?
probably won't want to be trying to run to the clinic/dr/hospital to get your finger stitched back up. especially as people show up sick outside of cold/flu season.
short of a major internal issue, might want to avoid care if at all possible, assuming care is even available.
so yeah, i was curious what others were doing... aside from the oxygenator. lol i'd have to hook up to our air compressor instead.

Being shut-in is probably harder than it sounds, especially for urban and suburban dwellers who will find it hard to avoid contact with others.
Being shut-in for two weeks would probably do me some good...I know there's some old stuff in my freezer that needs to be eaten.

I would drive my family crazy as I really can't stand still for more than 5 minutes----I think they would plan a "natural looking" death plot.

I posted this back on March 4th in the main Carona virus thread.

The linked article is thought provoking at least. Sounds like a good time to stock up on vitamins C & D...
I guess I better follow through, since a lot of confirmation on here.

My kids love whole milk and orange juice, we don't stock up on pills.
Re: Post your Preps/Tips and ideas.
Pills are great in Orange Juice.

i've a ceiling to put up and a roof to take down. wouldn't bother me none having to stay home, especially if i got paid.
yard also needs work and wood needs split.

so is everclear, jussayin. 1:1 shoot it down.
just got back home with a restock of milk, bar soap and some meds. apparently there is a limit to how much cough syrup you can buy at a time. i only wanted two small bottles and two packs of meds containing it as well... shit we went through more with the last cold.
toilet paper is abundant where i've been. only things wiped out are alcohol, gloves and masks.

My wife made this last night for the kids for dinner.
Today my stomach hurts.
Having some more for lunch. Added some Sriracha this time.

You know god damned well that there's a shortage of toilet paper and yet you eat that shit - and double up on it with shit-sauce.
You, sir are an irresponsible person, and will be dealt with. Government agents will remove you to a detention center for the duration of this death virus event for the sake of all of us who need TP for OUR bungholes!
