so have you seen any panic buying or done any panic buying
Nothing I'll post here, that's for sure.
I think after 8 years of panic buying, most people are well stacked.
Sort of.
I'm in the process of building something. I had planned on doing so over a greater span of time, but not wishing to pay more by waiting, I bought most of what I need to wrap up the build now.
I lived through the great panic of 1812, so I learned my lesson long ago and the only thing I'm caught short on at the moment is two types of ammo.
I'll never need to buy 22LR ammo for the rest of my life - reminds me of my grandparents who lived through the great depression and afterwards hoarded all sorts of things so they would never have to go without again.
I actually heard a news report (cant remember source) that firearm industry stocks appeared to be on the rise. So investors think it's a good time to buy
I received an email from Combat Armory. It's wording had a panicky feel to it as it urged customers to purchase their AK parts kits before no more are allowed to be imported.
i'm pretty well stocked with exception of buckshot and 7.62x54r
lots of slugs and everything else.
need more sulpher though.
unrelated but i'm also out of vinegar, usually keep 3 to 5 gallons of that on hand.
come to think of it, we're also running low on gasoline and acetone.
Just small insignificant purchases....over the past 10 years....
Not as of yet. However, I got to be honest. I really did go batshit crazy right before the 2016 election.
Yeah I haven't bought anything in a year or so, really....
Midway has magpul Ar-10 and 15 drum mags on sale. Just saying.
I just want my AR to be worth what I paid for it when the ‘Irish guy’ was president.
I'll buy any brass 55 gr 556 for $260/1k, right now.
Steel 762x39, $180/1k.
I have been motivated into buying a new AR. Also going to start looking at gun shows as to what 80% stuff is avaliable. Would like some 80% AR lowers and to build an 80% pistol either glock or sig.
Of course you would, who would't?
I'll add that I'll buy any 7.62x54 mil surplus in spam cans for $80/440
I grabbed another bag of the spiced nuts my wife likes to have with her glass of wine. We were running short, they hadn't been in stock for awhile and I was in a panic.
In the near future I expect to have NON-corrsive ammo in 7.62x54r for sale ............ and I'll beat any current pricing of it.
With that being said ............. I have seen slight increase in some prices.
Seen it awhile ago shortly after another shooting but it did not last long ......... thinking this may not either but?????
Nope.
I like the glocks

I did my panic buying back in the late 1980s. LOL
I will more than likely commit and buy a few thousand primers, along with perhaps another 8lbs of 4350
I have a stripped lower sitting happily in the safe for a rainy day but I gotta admit...I just decided to pick up a MOE lower build kit from PSA and I'll probably look for a good deal on an upper or upper build kit. I may not build it right away, but I'd at least like to have all the parts on hand.
I picked up a few AR15 LPKs and a batch of 7.62x51 I've been meaning to buy. I'm thinking about picking up a few cheap PSA uppers as they come on sale. You can always mill out an 80% lower but having the upper and parts to make it work is another story.
PSA had a flash deal an Taurus 9mm and something like 3-5 lowers for $250. I debated, now I wish I jumped.
I've been doing steady from Jan.
I've been looking to pick up another lower for a few months. PSA had some on sale for $109 and I'll admit that the events of this past weekend helped push me to grab one. Well that and a small bonus from work helped also :)
I need more fishing gear !
I heard that Dicks is well stocked with fishing gear.
I'm going through my safe and getting things in order for some panic selling. I've got quite a few long guns that aren't getting the love they deserve and I'd like to find them a new home before background checks for all gun sales becomes law.
Xtreme bullets, which hasn't been discounting much lately, sent me an email offering a 7% discount sitewide for the next 4 or 5 days. I like their plated bullets for range ammo.
If you're talking about stripped uppers and you aren't dead set on having a forward assist and dust cover, this is the best price I've ever seen on these Anderson Sport uppers.
They've had these on sale for a few months. I just checked quantities by plugging in numbers until it would allow it - seems there are less than 100 avail now.

I bought a panic button once but I lost it.
I have a lower that I need to build out and would like something different. Any suggestion other than the basic M4/AR15 buildout? I'm serious, looking for some guidance/suggestions.
So many options.
So many configurations.
So many calibers - several only require a caliber specific mag, barrel, and BCG. (300BLK, 22LR, 7.62x39, to some extent 9mm)
I'm wrapping up my 2nd 7.62x39.
