World War 2 Rifle Shoot on August 10th

Washington County Tactical Range in West Alexander, PA is hosting a World War 2 Rifle Shoot on August 10th starting at 11:00 am.

Shooters do not need to be members of our range.

Only period-correct (or earlier) firearms are to be used at this event. No full autos are permitted. Iron sites ONLY. Dressing in period attire is encouraged.

Entrance Fee:

$20 Entry Fee limited to 40 shooters.
Prizes:

First prize is 25% of entry fees collected plus free use of our Full-Auto US Army Tommy Gun for 1 hour with your ammo.
Second prize is 10% of entry fees collected plus free use of our Full-Auto US Army Tommy Gun for 1 hour with your ammo.
Third prize is 5% of entry fees collected plus free use of our Full-Auto US Army Tommy Gun for 1 hour with your ammo.
Lanes:

1st Lane: Supported Firing Position using the shooting bench.
2nd Lane: Prone Unsupported Firing Position.
3rd Lane: Kneeling Supported Position
4th Lane: Standing Position (may use a vertical wall to brace)
Shooting Details:

12" to 18" targets will be placed from 75 to 150 yards.
Full-Size silhouette targets will be placed from 150 to 300 yards
On each lane, shooters will have 1 minute to shoot 5 rounds
Total round count is 20 for event
In the event of a tie, shooters will shoot 5 rounds at a full-size silhouette target at 300 yards in 1 minute. Repeat until we have a winner.
Shooter Equipment:

No optics. Iron sights only.
No front or back supports.
No bags, no bi-pods.

Rules for Event:

All shooters must be 16+ years old. Absolutely no one under 16 is permitted on premises.
Eye and ear protection must be worn by EVERYONE at all times.
The tentative schedule for the shoot:

Range opens at 8:00 am to 10:00 am for practice.
Sign-In is from 8:00 am to 10:30 am.
Safety briefing is at 10:45 am.
First shooter on the line at 11:00 am. There will be little time allocated between shooters, so next shooter after active shooter needs to be "On Deck" and ready to roll.
