Any where decent to sell gold?
Any place in the Monroe County area to sell gold that will knows what they are doing and will pay a decent price? I stopped in at a few and either they do not know what a Krugerrand is or they are offering $200-300 under spot. I know they have to make something but that sounds high.

I believe we have members here who buy gold. Free seems to have an eye for it at times. I bought a few gold coins from a member a few years back and we were both happy with the transaction. We completed the sale at a gun dealer. It was a win/win.

I sell to jmbullion.com semi-regularly without any issues. Decent buy-back prices.

In general you will buy 10% above spot and sell 10% below spot for most dealers.

Fidelitrade in Delaware is great to deal with. They are an approved dealer for the US Mint and the Royal Canadian Mint. They post their prices on their website and they are updated throughout the day.

Re: Any where decent to sell gold?
This is the time to sell bullion if you need too. The major coin dealers don't have any coins to sell with the spike in demand. It doesn't matter what the published spot price is for gold /silver prices (this is the paper futures price). To actually hold the gold in your hand now you have to pay a big premium.
Last i checked JM Bullion was buying back silver and gold coins at spot a few days ago. And some coins like the silver eagles were $4 over spot.
The bigger question is should you sell. If you need cash right now the answer is Yes. But with the government printing money as fast as they can, a soon to be stratospheric national debt and an effectively zero percent Bond interest you might want to hold on to bullion for a while.
