Another green parked 8-shot Ithaca 37 DS Police Special similar to this one but without the recoil pad; this makes four of them scattered about the house:

1942 made Colt New Service 357 Magnum, similar to this one in condition but 4" barrel and with black plastic grips and a lanyard ring, with "A.C.S.D" stamped on the bottom of the grip frame:

Uberti 1876 Winchester repro in 50-95 Express, the 20" "Texas Ranger" carbine; I already had the CH dies for a Uberti clone and some cases. Mine is similar to this one:

Remington 121, excellent condition, similar to this one:

Argentine 1909 Cavalry Carbine, all matching, mint bore, similar to this one, without bayonet. The vendor was internet-illiterate and was telling people it was "sporterized." People were setting it down after that. I got it for stupid low $$$:

Marlin 336Y "Spikehorn", JM marked North Haven production, Ballard rifling, figured and checkered walnut stock; thankfully not that dense, heavy laminated furniture they put on later versions. Crappy photo serving as an example:

Winchester-Miroku 1894 Sporting Rifle, 26", in 38-55; tackdriver with my handloads:

Marlin 1894PG, made only two years, a Pistol Grip 1894 in 44 Mag / 44 Spl. Very rare, and I got it for less than regular 1894 rifle price:

The difference is he did that over a couple months, you'd do it over the span of a couple of hours.
Re: What did you buy yourself today (Photo thread)...
Yesterday was a busy morning. Ran down to Delco to do a deal with a fellow member and wound up buying a pair of .30-06 bandoliers off of him. Then I ran up to Tanner's to trade an 03A3 for this Daewoo DR-200. THEN there was still more to do as I ran down to 611 and County Line to meet up with a former co-worker. I used the cash from the earlier sale along with some more cash and a Romanian M44 Mosin to pick up this beautiful '55 Springfield M1 Garand that also came with some en blocs and a bayonet. Probably going to give the en blocs to a buddy of mine who is waiting on an M1 from the CMP.

Follow up with a range report.

Forgot one:
A used Taurus 445 2" polished stainless 44 Special. Hardly fired, in box with papers for less than $350. This one checked out fine functionally at the store, and at the range was flawless. I had a 3" 431 in the past and sort of missed it, as the 44 Special is one of my favorite cartridges.
Mine looks like this one, except without the ghey background:

Re: What did you buy yourself today (Photo thread)...
Another find yesterday, a used 24" polished stainless steel Rossi 92 in 44 Magnum, which cycles and fires 44 Special just fine without any shimming of the cartridge guides or other adjustments. Balance point when loaded is about one hand width in front of the receiver, so it carries well:

Pairs with the polished SS Taurus 445 above, or my polished 4-3/4" SS Ruger Flat Top New Model Blackhawk in 44 Special, or the polished 3-1/2" SS Ruger birdshead Vaquero in 44 Magnum, which has seen only 44 Specials.

Me in the fall: I guess I'll carry my full size pistol under a hoodie.
Noah in the fall: This new lever action would fit perfectly under my coat.
Gorgeous gun.

Looks nice. Never saw that finish combo in the wild.
I like Charters, and own several in 327 Fed Mag, 44 Special, 45 ACP, and a 22 LR 2" snubbie. Surprisingly good trigger pulls, almost S&W-like in single action mode. Very accurate. Pretty much bought them all used, except for a 45 ACP Pit Bull.
