What do I have here? Identification needed...
Gents -
Bought a pile of motorcycle parts at an estate and executor had a stock and stock/barrel combo he threw in with the deal.
I've shown to a few friends, but we haven't been able to nail down what it is I have.
On the one - The barrel's bore measures .41 inches... rifled and rather clean... Serial # and makers mark, but no written name anywhere I can find... maybe military of some sort?
Any ideas?
Thanks guys -
Mike

Re: What do I have here? Identification needed...
The stock appears to be for a Swiss K31, maybe a K11.

With a bore size of 41 my first thoughts also was a Vetterli.

K31 was my guess as well.

Thanks guys for all your help!

I agree the stock is for a K31 and it looks like a walnut stock, which is nice. If you take the butt plate off there may be a troop tag underneath.

It's in decent shape too. The beavers must not have gotten to it.
