Born in Spangler ~ New member First post
Hi All,
I've been cruzin the threads, decided to join, and now am making my introduction.
Born in Miners Hopsital in the 50's.
I have a 9mm but enjoy my 10/22"s (lot more fun for the $$$). I'd much rather smoke 3-400 rounds from the Ruger(s) when It comes time to repleni$h round$.
Don't hunt but I still remember how. Target shooter.
"It's more fun to see smoke rings coming out of the barrel than hot brass down the shirt". ~ ME
After the ol' man taught me guns safety (45+ yrs ago) an safe shooting. He told me: "Never forget!" 1~ "KNOW what you are shooting at" and 2~ "It's better to be judged by 12 than carried by 6".
I don't look for trouble, but I will not be a victim either.
Retired heavy equipment operator/instructor but now help my sweetie w/ her business.
So once again, Hello ALL

Howdy! Welcome. This is a great place to find information and meet other gun owners.

Thanks you guys!
That's the impression I got from the threads. Seems like friendly, easy going folk. To old and unimpressed for all that rough & roudy stuff on other sites. Maybe meet some folks for local informal plinkin. May even pick up some new tips?

Hello Pappy, I just came across this thread and most of my family was born at Miner's with kin working at the relocation. Great part of the country and I miss it much.

Hi LeMgnfq66,
I seemed to miss it more when I live away. Not the same when you have to plan a visit.
I find the area more enjoyable to go out to a field or a friends yard for some target practice than belong to a range like you urban folks :)
Welcome and be well
