after buying several guns from this place over the years, today was treated with disgust. walked in to store today to do a pistol transfer and also buy some stuff ammo etc. was told as soon as i asked we dont do transfers and on there website says transfers. so i said ok being that i always buy something when im in a gun store, i asked do you have ammo was told only for people who buy guns. i believe he was the owner. note to owner if you want to have a sucessful business treat people like customers and not like a rude ignorant a__hole. i will never buy anything from this place again do your self a favor go somewhere else besides this place.

Good grammar helps make complaints appear valid. I have not been there in a while, but I know the store well enough to know that they have had haters who complained to the facebook police who shut down their page from time to time.

Their web page does mention transfers, so that's half confirmation. I have no corroboration that they said otherwise, of course.

As for reserving ammo for people buying guns, that seems like common sense when both ammo and guns are scarce, and some are stockpiling while newbs would be hard-pressed to buy a gun at all, and it would be even harder to do anything useful without at least 1 box of ammo.

They have another store in Quakertown. Haven't been in, in a while, but I've done a few ftf transfers there without issue. They were all prepanic however.

I have done transfers at both stores in times past. Not sure what is going on with them.

I’ve done several face to face transfers there as well since they only charge $15.00. I’ve also bought several firearms from them over the last 7 years. I’ve never had an unpleasant experience with them and have always been treated well.

The reserved ammo for gun buyers is going on at a lot of gun shops in this area. Dunkleburgers is doing this for handguns in both locations when stock is low.

I haven’t been to Eastern arms in about a year but I do recommend them to a lot of people in my area and I’ve never gotten any negative comments back.

I'm not too far (Brodheadsville) and I do $20 transfers.
