tbh I'm just worried about the weather on sunday.
What/where is this? Finally found a show before it happens.
Check the Eagle Arms site for directions, locations...
Was in for a few hours today. Good show, a few sellers were out of stuff already (mostly plate carriers and AR parts).
Heard they might go back to Oaks in 2 weeks.
Don't forget your $1 off coupon!
I went yesterday. Arrived earlier than expected and went to the entrance. A few of us went inside to get out of the cold and shortly thereafter were let in. It was earlier than 1PM, but my assumption was that they didn't have the volume of VIPs expected...so they let others in.
I wandered around for a couple hours and when I left there was no line. It wasn't crowded with spectators. Several tables/vendors had yet to set up. I managed to pick up something I needed.
Only speaking for the firearms for which I had an interest....prices are still up. I suppose it'll be that way for awhile. Saw a new rifle I had been considering, but it was over MSRP, plus 3% for credit card. (I know, I know, in PA a vendor can charge for credit, but not debit card use.) 9mm ammo, was as $15 higher per box than my local range. The big difference was that one could buy quantity at the show.
I believe that we should support these events, but I doubt I'll do the one at the end of the month.
I worked behind a table there today. It was surprisingly slow for much of the day. A lot of tire kickers too. Ammo prices are up, gun prices too. Deals might be had on old stuff if you look hard enough. Myself and the guys I was with left early to try and beat the weather and because of how slow it was. Still, I got a sale in and I used that cash to buy a Tikka M91 Mosin.
