DWX is just so boring looking IMO, though.

Haha, boring is not the first word that comes to mind when I look at it. Personally, I think it looks pretty unique. That said, is smooth shooting or being pretty the priority?

When I spend $2k on a pistol, I also want it to be aesthetically pleasing. For example, I both enjoy shooting & looking at my Rapide Dawn. YMMV

I frequently see that advertised on the back page of gun magazines, she's a looker for sure.

[QUOTE=TacticalSpeed;4751842]Curious as to what people think the smoothest and flattest shooting 9mm double stack pistols, that one can buy today, are.
Not a double-stack, but any good 1911 in 9mm is a smooth pussycat to shoot. Easy to manipulate, great trigger, and minimal recoil.

Beauty is definitely in the eye of the beholder, because I think the Rapide looks like someone gave a 5 yr old a shitty Kimber and a Dremel and told them to go to town. ;) :p

Stick with the classics, old school Browning HiPower. (not the new version) There's a reason they are a classic.
