2015 LTCFs by County and Firearm Transfer Metrics
Attached hereto find statistics for LTCF issuance and firearm transfers for 2015 consisting of:
- LTCFs by County (Alphabetical)
- LTCFs by County Rank (% high to low)
- Handgun Transfers (2003-15) [graphic]
- Long-gun Transfers (2003-15) [graphic]
- LTCFs issued (2003-15) [graphic]
Note that LTCF statistics are not adjusted for revocations, deaths or issuance to out-of-state residents due to lack of any available records.
LTCF issued data from the Pennsylvania State Police published documents. Population data from estimates provided by the US Census Bureau.

Trends comparing 2015 to 2014:

population of PA is 12.79 Million
% under 21? Maybe 15% Maybe 10%? Lets call it 10%
So there are 11.5 million Pennsylvanians that could obtain a LTCF.
Knock of 500,000 for felons and nutjobs and people with misdemeanor offenses that could have 2 year sentence or more.
We're looking at 10% of the eligible population that has a LTCF.
Not too shabby!!!
