I apologize if this isn't allowed. A bit off topic but still outdoors related. I'm looking for recommendations for ATV repair (2004 Yamaha Grizzly 660 broken throttle cable) in Monroe County. I'm just outside Sciota. Thanks.

Throttle cable should be an easy fix. Probably only need a screw driver and maybe a wrench. Looks like the part is under $20: https://www.amazon.com/2002-2008-Yam.../dp/B00U7TZ5S6

As long as you can locate your 10mm wrench it's pretty easy.
Go over to Cherry Valley Tire Phone: (570) 402-4944 off Cherry Valley Rd and ask Gary what he would charge. Blockers in Lehighton 610--377-0440 is decent and there is also a place in Forks Township off the beaten path called TSI Phone: 610-559-9341 Email: tsicomp495@gmail.com
Thanks for the response. That's the video I watched and determined I needed a pro. If you just watch the first minute you can see he is pretty disgusted. Easy fix except you have to take the bike almost completely apart. I have an old one. Apparently they reengineered them when they put fuel injection in and it is a lot easier now. My family laughs at my ineptitude with tools. There is no way I am going to get the thing back together.
All my 10mm sockets have run off with my missing socks.
Thanks, I'll try them tomorrow.
Super easy, Just like the video, the worst part is removing all the tupperware panels to get at the bits and pieces...and dont drop the little brass ferrule that holds the cable to the throttle bellcrank it will fall into the blackhole of forever lost parts
My '03 Kodiak has the exact set up
