Hideous. He should be tarred and feathered.
While not my cup of tea, whatever will help keep leverguns being produced - I'm for.
I love leverguns, but not as many are being made these days. And now their prices are through the F'n roof!
I want to see Ruger produce a 20"-22" barrel wood stock .Marlin lever in 45/70 or 357mag
Well they do have a 18.5", laminate stock .45-70 on the market as their first Marlin lever action https://www.lipseys.com/itemdetail?itemno=MA70478
Posted in the ridiculous deals thread.

I have zero problems with a "tactical" lever gun. If the antis ever succeed at banning ARs and other semi-auto rifles, a good lever action may be one of a handful of alternatives. And if you think lever guns are expensive now....
I think certain guns like lever guns should maintain their traditional looks and wood stocks but a rail mounted on top of the receiver isn't bad if it makes mounting a scope easier. I also prefer the look of the traditional wood/wire butt stock on AK47's, AR15 stocks on AK's just looks a bit ridicules to me but to each his own.
