Gun smith from Quakertown to Cooperburg to Easton. If you've had work done and pleased I would appreciate a reccomendation for a quality smith that is reasonable and won't keep my firearm for a year for simple work.

I've heard very good things about Dave from Donnleys in Quakertown.
I've had a few minor jobs done by the gunsmith at Xtreme Gun Worx in Emmaus when he worked at Defcon-1.
Sight installs were done in a few hours. He fixed and cleaned up a malfunctioning Tokarev inside of a week. I'd definitely use him again, if needed.
I'll second Donnleys, good place. Also might want to check with Sarco in Easton. They have an in house gunsmith, too.

Ive used Xtreme Gunworx as well -- one was for a mosin to get the barrel chopped down, crowned, and threaded ... the other was to mill a bolt release button on a shotgun to install an extended release button. Both jobs completed in just a few days (less than a week)
Sarco smith onsite. I have used him several times with good results. They had 2 smiths at one time, one retired. He maybe doing work from his home, don't know.
This guy is good but hard to track down. Not sure if this info is current as at one time he was in Brodheadsville and then at Pocono Pistol. He all around good and really good with 1911's.
