I do my non-Fudd shooting at PMSC, but I occasionally go to the SGL pistol range because PMSC is a 50-min drive for me. I like grabbing a bay at PMSC so I can shoot multiple targets, different positions, shoot a carbine at personal-defense distances, etc. Does BVRPC have any spaces like that, or is it only pistol at the pistol range, rifle at the rifle range?
Castlewood is about 10 min off the 79/422 split and you can do all that in any of the bays. Rifle out to 550 yards. We're doing 3 gun in October.

I really have nowhere to shoot, as I'm not a member of any clubs. I'm new to all this, so any recommendations are appreciated! :)

Well, we shoot informally every Thursday night at Castlewood. The first time is free and after that it's $5. We usually go out to eat after. You're always welcome to come see the club.

I live closer to the mall and when we move will be looking close to the park. My fiancee and I go there alot.

I belong to PMSC. It's about a 40 minute drive. But It's worth it and I usually only shoot on the weekends when I have extra time.
